New Jersey Kids Count 2012 County Rankings
ACNJ each year publishes New Jersey Kids Count, a statewide report on child well-being. While this annual snapshot on the conditions of children across the state is very informative, it is also useful to take a closer look at county level data to better understand how children are faring in each of New Jersey’s 21 counties and in different parts of the state.
Fifteen different measures of child health, safety, education and overall child and family well-being are used to rank and compare the counties. This information is intended to help inform policymakers, local and county officials, service providers and the public of significant trends related to children in their area and to highlight areas of success and opportunities for improvement.
