ACNJ’s Child Champ Camp

Become a Child Advocate!

ACNJ’s Community Outreach team teaches community members to advocate on behalf of children, both in their own backyard and at the state level, raising the volume of voices speaking up for New Jersey’s children.

ACNJ, along with community partners, offers two courses.

Giving Every Child a Chance Advocacy Training 101

This one-day seminar is designed to educate people about the needs of New Jersey’s children and families and train people in ways that they can make a difference. This course includes presentations on emergent issues and shows you how to use KIDS COUNT data to effectively advocate for positive change for children. Hands-on activities give you a chance to practice your new advocacy skills -- and really make a difference. Course content is tailored to reflect the unique needs of your community.

Your group must have at least 15 people to participate.
