New Jersey Kids Count

New Jersey KIDS COUNT, a project of Advocates for Children of New Jersey, is part of the national KIDS COUNT network, a state-by-state effort funded by the Annie E. Casey Foundation to track the status of children across the United States.

The project’s major goal is to provide policymakers, advocates and the public with meaningful, reliable and timely data about the well-being of New Jersey children.

New Jersey Kids Count data are available in an interactive, online format through the Annie E. Casey Foundation’s Kids Count database. There, you can access data for multiple years, create charts, graphs and maps and compare New Jersey to other states.

In addition, ACNJ produces various Kids Count publications, which can be accessed below.

Statewide NJ Kids Count Reports
County NJ Kids Count Profiles
City NJ Kids Count Reports

If you have any questions about the project or any of our data, please contact Nicole Hellriegel, Kids Count coordinator, at nhellriegel@acnj.org.
